FF Dagny is based on DN Grotesk, designed by Örjan Nordling in 2002 for Dagens Nyheter, a swedish major newspaper. For the FontFont Library several adjustments were made, the contrast in stroke thickness was reduced for even better legibility in small sizes, and a lot of characters were redesigned together with the FontFont TypeDepartment. True italics were designed and more weights was added to the family, aswell as better language support.
